Calculators aren't offered at the test centers, and you cannot use a calculator.
Quick Facts
- Only the calculators listed here are accepted for the Math Test - Calculator portion of the test.
- You may not make use of any calculator while working on tests like the Reading, Writing and Language or Math Test--No Calculator portions, and must take away the calculator aside during these sections of the test.
- You'll be kicked out and your marks canceled in the event that you use your calculator for sharing information during the exam, or to remove questions or answer sheets from the testing room.
Calculator Smarts
- Bring your own calculator. You can't share one.
- Don't bring a brand new calculator. Bring one you're comfortable with. Prepare for the test with the same calculator you'll be using on the day of your test.
- This Math Test includes some questions in which it's best not to make use of calculators. calculator even if you're permitted to.
- It might be helpful to complete some scratch work in the exam book. Note down your thoughts prior to you use your calculator.
- Make sure that your calculator is in working order and that batteries are new. The test center will not supply extra calculators or batteries. If your calculator is damaged during the test and you're not able to find a replacement then you'll need to take the test without it.

Acceptable Calculators
If you own the calculator with characters that are 1 inch or greater, or if your calculator features a display that is raised that may be visible other test-takers. You will be assigned a seat at the discretion by the coordinator of tests.
Only handheld devices powered by batteries can be used for testing. There are no power cords allowed.
Calculators allowed during testing include:

- Every four-function device (not advised)

Unacceptable Calculators
It is not permitted to utilize any of these items as calculators: calculator:
- Laptops or other computers, mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, or wearable technology
- Models that have access to the Internet and have wireless Bluetooth and cellular connectivity, audio/video recording and playing, camera, or any other features similar to smartphones.
- Models that include a computer-style (QWERTY) keypad pen input, pen input or stylus
- Models that utilize electricity outlets, make sounds or have a tape
- Furthermore, the use of hardware peripherals , such as a stylus with an approved calculator is not permitted. Some models with touchscreen capabilities are not allowed (e.g., Casio ClassPad).
